Agency collection
Q) If I wanted to become a member but only want you to collect for us, do I still have to Pay for the membership? A) No, becoming a member without access to Self Collect (REC) will not attract membership fees, however if you decide to use the Self Collection at a later stage, than you will have to pay the membership fees.
Q) If you are doing the collection on our behalf, why do we still need to become a member? A) The system is extremely advanced and has sophisticated tracking features, you may enter the system and track down agency collects status, via a pass word & user name. You can view the status of the claim and create new claims for us to collect at any time of day or night. Also the law requires that you are aware of the privacy agreement and we require that you are familiar with the terms & conditions of the agreement, and therefore your details are required.
Q) If you are Going to do the collection for us, do we pay anything? A) We operate on a No Win - No Fee basis, However there is an initial file setup fee of $ 25.00 + GST payable to Express Collections Pty Ltd for each debt collection Claim Lodged.
Q) If you are unsuccessful in Collection, do we still have to pay any commission? A) No, we will not charge any commission, furthermore you will not be billed for legal fees incidental costs unless you are aware of the costs involved and not without your written approval.
Q) If we require further legal action, can you recommend lawyers who are experienced in these matters? A) Yes we can, we have an accredited list of lawyers who are capable of handling these matters, most of them will work on No Win - No Fee basis. There is no cost to you from our end, the Lawyers will notify you of the costs involved and will add it to the claim. If the claim is successful the lawyers will seek full recovery of any legal fees & costs from the courts.
Self Collection
Q) If we sign up for Self Collection, do we have to pay any commissions? A) No you will not pay any commissions, as long as you use the (REC) Self Collection System. If you are unsuccessful in collection and you engage our services for collection than the commission structure will apply, less a discount for being a self collect member.
Q) I am not experienced in collection procedures, can you help us understand the (REC)? A) Yes we will help you understand the (REC) system completely, and once you have become a member and paid your annual subscription, we will assist you in all aspects of debt collections through the (REC) Self Collect System.
Q) After I have paid the annual membership for (REC) Self Collection, do I have to pay anything else? A) You will only have to pay a small handling fee for monies received on your behalf, and forwarded on to you, no Commissions will apply.
Q) Once we become a member, can we alter the letters in the database which you provide? A) Absolutely Not, Any modification to our letter templates must go through our Head office. These Letters have been carefully drafted by a legal representative and any changes without proper authorisation may open the doors for defamation or Harassment.
Q) What if the debtor takes of and will not pay us, Can you handle the collection? A) We can handle any collections to the maximum the law allows us. We are not allowed to use harassment tactics, or excessive force.
Q) What if we have many debtors? Do we have to pay anything extra? A) Your annual subscription will allow you to send our letters to as many debtors, without incurring any further fees or costs except for a small handling fee for money transfers. These fees usually range between $ 8.00 and $15.00 + GST if applicable.
Q) If we have several businesses can we use the one membership for all Companies? A) Unfortunately not, however if you wish to register more than one business than we can offer a substantial discount for all subsequent businesses.
Q) If we change business names can we still use the membership for the new name or corporation? A) If you are still the same owner than we would transfer the membership across to your new Company, However there is a $ 25.00 Administration Cost, Plus GST if Applicable.
